At Tiimo A/S (“Tiimo”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) we collect and use personal information about our users on our mobile application and web platform. The purpose of this data protection policy is to provide you with an easy-to-understand explanation of what personal information we have about you, how we use your personal information, when it is collected and why we do that. Likewise, in our data protection policy, you will be able to familiarize yourself with the rights you have under the current legislation regarding privacy data protection. Our data protection policy will be updated on an ongoing basis so that it is always in compliance with the legislation and adapted to the way we operate our business.
Tiimo A/S is the overall data controller for your personal information and ensures it is stored safely and treated in an appropriate and responsible way. We use third-party vendors (for example, for IT tasks), and we ensure that these also always comply with applicable laws in the area. It may be that a supplier has parts of their products and / or services in a country outside the EU (in a so-called third country) and that your information is therefore transferred outside the EU. In these situations, our subcontractors are required to ensure that the same security arrangements that protect your information within the EU are also applied to the information transferred outside the EU. This means that your personal information is equally safe, when processed within the EU and in a third country. If you would like to know more, please contact hello@tiimo.dk.
When you are a Tiimo customer, you register with your name and email address. This information is used to deliver the service you have signed up for. At the same time, your email address is registered so we can contact you with reference to new updates and initiatives at Tiimo. If you no longer wish to receive correspondence, emails, or other communications from Tiimo, you may opt-out by either contacting us directly at hello@tiimo.dk or by clicking the unsubscribe button of any email you receive.
When you create a subscription with Tiimo, your payment information is handled through App Store or Google Play. Tiimo only stores if you have an active or inactive subscription, and does not store any of your payment information. In other words, it means that we can deliver the ordered service and, in addition, fulfill our agreement with you, including managing your rights to terminate your Tiimo subscription.
Tiimo automatically collects certain information about you when you use the mobile application. The information that is being collected is overall used to better understand how our users use Tiimo, and improve the service to the users. We may collect information from your device including, but not limited to, date and time of usage, the device identifier, the type of device that is being used, the OS version used on your device, your approximate location as evidenced by data through your IP address and your overall usage of and interaction with Tiimo as a service. In case of the app crashing, we may also collect information about your type of device and OS version. However, this is not connected to you.
The basis for Tiimo processing your personal information is your registration to use the Tiimo platform and your agreement with Tiimo's terms upon entering into the agreement. Therefore, the legal basis is the fact that Tiimo makes an agreement with you in order to be able to use Tiimo as a customer. The agreement is entered into at the time of establishment when you accept Tiimo's terms.
From time to time, we may review the policy. If the policy is changed and updated, you will be notified about it either through email or through the posting of an updated version of the policy to our website.
Tiimo does not give your personal information for purposes that are not related to the administration and use of the Tiimo platform. Information may in some cases be sent to external partners that process the information on our behalf. We use external partners, among other things, for technical operations and administration of payments. These companies are sub-processors and under our instructions, they process data for which we are responsible. Data Processors must not use the information for any purpose other than fulfillment of the agreement with us and they are subjected to confidentiality regarding this.
Tiimo stores your personal information as long as you have an active Tiimo subscription and for up to two years after you have terminated your Tiimo subscription. Then, your personal information will be deleted.
