Plan and organize with tasks and to-do's

Whether you like to plan things out or just need a space to braindump, Tiimo makes it easy. You can create tasks manually or use the AI-powered Co-planner to help structure your day without overthinking.

What’s the difference between a task and a to-do?

  • Tasks (Plan tab): Scheduled activities — they appear on your timeline with a time or as “Anytime”
  • To-dos (To-do tab): Unscheduled ideas — your mental inbox for anything you want to remember

Use tasks when you know when something needs to happen. Use to-dos when you’re still figuring it out.

Plan tab: Add and manage daily tasks

This is your main view for the day. You can add tasks manually or with AI support.

Option 1: Use Co-planner (AI-powered)

  1. Tap the ✨ sparkle button in the bottom right
  2. Speak or type what’s on your mind
  3. Tiimo suggests structured tasks with time, icons, tags, etc.
  4. Adjust if needed, then save

Co-planner is great when you’re overwhelmed or don’t know where to start.

Option 2: Create a task from scratch

  1. Tap the + button
  2. Type a title (e.g. “Do laundry”)
  3. Tap More to add time, tags, or notes — or just save it as-is
  4. Tap Add task to save

To-do tab: Braindump and schedule later

The To-do tab is your mental inbox. Use it to offload everything on your mind without needing to schedule it right away.

Option 1: Create a to-do with Co-planner

  1. Tap the ✨ sparkle button
  2. Speak or type what’s on your mind
  3. Co-planner breaks it into tasks
  4. Save in To-do or schedule right away

Option 2: Create a to-do from scratch

  1. Tap the + button
  2. Enter a title
  3. Tap the arrow to save

Schedule a to-do

Why this supports executive functioning

These features are designed for flexible brains. They help with:

  • Getting started – Co-planner takes the pressure off figuring everything out
  • Time awareness – Scheduled tasks and color-coding make time feel more real
  • Cognitive offloading – To-dos store ideas until you’re ready to act
  • Flexible attention – Reschedule, shift, or go “Anytime” based on energy
  • Overwhelm management – Visual structure without pressure to be perfect

How to get the most out of tasks and to-dos

  • Start with a To-do dump — unload your brain first, organize later
  • Use Co-planner when you’re stuck — it breaks things into clear steps
  • Try “Anytime” tasks if you need flexibility
  • Color-code by energy, category, or urgency — let your visuals do the sorting
  • Only schedule what feels realistic — a couple of tasks per day is enough
  • Regularly clean out your To-do tab — it’s okay to let go of what no longer fits
