Tiimo partners with Kahoot!

Tiimo partners with Kahoot! to launch neurodiversity myth busting games to promote more inclusive learning environments and workplaces.

We care about building more knowledge, awareness and neuroinclusivity. That is why we are so excited to launch our range of myth busting games on the Kahoot! Academy Platform.

We are so thrilled to announce the launch today of our Kahoot! games which aim to help challenge some of the myths around Neurodiversity. We have partnered with the Kahoot! Academy platform to invite teachers and learners of all ages to learn and test their knowledge about neurodiversity, ADHD, autism, and inclusion through a series of fun and engaging games. The games have been created by Tiimo in collaboration with two of our talented neurodivergent resource partners and autism advocates; Joy F Johnson - an autism behaviour specialist and inclusion specialist, and Canadian TikTok’er Paige Layle - who has continued to go viral since the spring with her candid and popular videos about autism.

“We’re extremely excited to partner with Tiimo to make neurodiversity myth busting accessible and engaging for students, teachers, parents and learners of all ages worldwide” said Craig Narveson, Director of Partnerships, Kahoot!

The games aim to help teachers and students build their neurodiversity knowledge through a series of fact-based myth busting games that learners can play anywhere, whether in the classroom, an online class meeting or independently at home. Students can build important inclusion skills and awareness around neurodiversity, ADHD and autism in a more engrossing way than through traditional learning.

“We’re extremely excited to partner with Tiimo to make neurodiversity myth busting accessible and engaging for students, teachers, parents and learners of all ages worldwide” said Craig Narveson, Director of Partnerships, Kahoot!. "With this partnership, we hope to empower both learners and educators to build inclusion, grow their knowledge and celebrate neurodiversity."

Whereas many environments are still built to be comfortable and accommodating for neurotypical brains, and not neurodivergent brains, Tiimo and Kahoot! aim to build public knowledge around neurodiversity to change this.

“What’s so great about this partnership with Kahoot! is that we share the mission of inclusion and unleashing the potential within every person,” said our own CCO, Thomas Nymark Horsted. “We believe in giving people the tools they need to thrive in everyday life. That’s what our app is all about. And by giving people the educational tools they need to understand neurodiversity, we hope participants in our games will be able to create relationships and environments that are more inclusive, understanding and compassionate. So we are absolutely thrilled to partner with Kahoot! on this!"
