Team Tiimo

Team Tiimo is passionate about creating neuroinclusive tools to support planning and focus. Here, we share research-backed updates and resources thoughtfully designed with you in mind.

We are very proud and honored to announce that Tiimo has been nominated as a finalist for the prestigious Apple Design Awards 2024 in the inclusivity category. This nomination is not just a recognition of our app’s design and functionality, but also a testament to our vision of creating a world of opportunity for all neurotypes.

The Apple Design Awards celebrate excellence in innovation, ingenuity, and technical achievement in app and game design. Held annually, these awards recognize a very few handpicked developers that reflect the best in design, innovation, and technology on Apple platforms.Becoming a finalist is a dream come true for our team, a goal we've held since our journey began in 2015.
Our co-founder & CPO Melissa mentions:

"For many years it has been a tradition at Tiimo to watch WWDC together. We always dreamt of being one of the selected apps, joked about it, but at the same time had a very clear vision of making technology accessible to everyone regardless of physical or cognitive abilities.Out of the millions of apps in the App Store Apple has selected us as a finalist. So I’m very proud that Tiimo has been nominated for an Apple Design Award 2024 in the inclusivity category. It’s the Oscar’s for designers and developers!"

At Tiimo, inclusivity is at the core of our design philosophy, emphasizing accessibility for all, regardless of visible or invisible disabilities. Our approach is rooted in several key principles:

• Equality in design: We believe that designing for disabilities, whether visible or invisible, is equally important. Every feature we create aims to support and empower all users.

• Empowerment through Accessibility: Our goal is to provide access to tools and experiences that might otherwise be out of reach, enabling people to navigate their daily lives more effectively.

• Empathetic Design: We use empathy to understand the lived experiences of our users, making design choices that positively impact their daily lives and enhance their interactions with the world.

• Continuous Learning: Accessibility is a continuous journey for us. It's a mindset that keeps us learning, growing, and innovating to better serve our community.

We would like to extend another special thanks to our community of users, whose crucial support has played a critical role in achieving this milestone!
