To make sure Tiimo works for you, customize the settings to your preference. You can also set up more than one profile to share Tiimo with family members. Here's how to customize your Tiimo experience.
How to adjust settings to your preferences:
- Go to Plan tab → tap your name in top left corner
- Tap the Settings-icon in top right corner
- Adjust some or all of the following settings as you choose:
- Go to Theme and choose your preferred color theme.
- Go to Appearance and choose either Light or Dark mode (or let the app follow your phone settings by choosing System).
- Go to Font settings to choose between Tiimos default typeface or the dyslexic-friendly typeface.
- Go to Sounds to choose if and when Tiimo plays sound when you complete tasks.
- Go to App icon to choose the icon that best fits your home screen aesthetics.
How to set up different profiles under one subscription:
If you share your Tiimo subscription with a family member, you can set up different profiles for each of you.
This lets each family member have their own schedule, but also allows you to switch between profiles to manage tasks at each others profiles. This is also a great way for a parent to set up and manage a schedule for their child, which the child can access on their own device like a smart watch or phone.
How to add a new profile:
- Go to Plan tab → tap your name in top left corner.
- Tap the Settings-icon in top right corner.
- Scroll to Profile → Tap Add new profile.
- Type in the name of the profile and tap the arrow to save.
How to adjust the settings of the new profile:
App settings are bound to each device, so you can customize the experience to each family member at their device, without it affecting other family members.
- Download Tiimo to the device where your family member will be using it.
- Log in with your subscription e-mail and password.
- When asked, select the profile of your family member.
- Go to Plan tab → tap the name in top left corner.
- Tap the Settings-icon in top right corner.
- Customize the settings to fit the preferences of your family member.
- Most settings are bound to the device, which means you can customize the look of the app differently between devices.
If both of you want to import the same calendar, you need to make the calendar accessible to both of you in the Apple calendar first. Go to this Apple guide to set this up.
You can then import the calendar to each Tiimo profile by following this guide.
